Two new Michelin tires are on the market!

Michelin Road W GT tire: customized for classic models

Michelin Road W GT tires are designed for the classic long-distance travel motorcycle Honda Gold Wing. Since its launch in 1975, Honda Gold Wing has become an iconic model of cruise motorcycles with its excellent long-distance performance and comfort. To meet the high-performance requirements of this motorcycle, Michelin Road W GT uses a reinforced structure, customized tread and silicone-based rubber formula, which can balance long mileage and safety in both dry and wet conditions, providing an excellent driving experience.

In addition, Road W GT also uses Michelin Water Sipe groove pattern technology and Aramid Shield transient response technology to further improve the wet drainage performance and handling of the tire. In June 2024, Honda Gold Wing owners in Europe and the United States test-drove this tire. 89% of the owners recommended this tire after trial and gave it an average high rating of 4.5 points (out of 5 points), and 65% of the owners gave it a full score for durability.

Michelin Power Shift tire: a perfect fusion of daily life and sports

Michelin has noticed that the use scenarios of large scooters have expanded from daily travel to suburban exploration. To this end, Michelin has developed Power Shift tires specifically for large scooters, bringing a new concept of integrating daily use with sports performance.

Power Shift uses Michelin's RADIAL-XEVO reinforced carcass reinforcement technology and Michelin's 2CT+ dual tread technology to improve dry grip and provide sufficient stability and control for the vehicle when driving at high speeds or even making sharp turns. 

At the same time, thanks to the rubber formula with racing genes, the tread design of the Power family, the Water Evergrip patented pattern design and the full silicone rubber formula, Power Shift has excellent performance regardless of weather changes and still shows excellent grip and safety on wet ground.
