Green Travel Boosts EV Charging（Oct 14）

With the continuous growth of the number of new energy vehicles and the increasing proportion of green travel during holidays, the National Energy Administration has guided various regions to refine and improve charging guarantee plans in advance, organized relevant parties to use information platforms to strengthen monitoring, do a good job in emergency dispatch, and effectively guarantee the charging demand for large-scale travel of new energy vehicles during this year's National Day celebration. Through statistical analysis of 62700 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, from 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, the total number of charging times for new energy vehicles on China's highways reached 6.711 million, with a charging capacity of 163 million kilowatt hours and an average daily charging capacity of 23.2566 million kilowatt hours, representing a year-on-year increase of 51.42% in daily charging capacity.
