国庆假期长江南京段航道运行安全平稳有序。
During the National Day holiday, the Nanjing Navigation Channel Bureau in the Yangtze River has adhered to early planning, early arrangements, and early implementation, solidifying the responsibilities of all parties to fully conduct maintenance work on navigation channels along the Nanjing section of the Yangtze River. Channel operations within the jurisdiction remained secure and orderly, providing strong guarantees for the economic and social development along the river as well as the safe and convenient passage of vessels.
Before the holiday, the bureau convened a special meeting to deploy key safety tasks for the holiday, analyze and assess channel operation conditions during the holiday, and clarify the division of responsibilities among units and departments. Bureau leaders organized nighttime navigation inspections using the "no notification, direct approach" style, conducting safety production checks and establishing a problem list for identified issues with deadlines for rectification. Each channel management office tailored inspections according to the characteristics of their respective jurisdictions, examining areas such as bridge waterways and key channels, refining holiday navigation maintenance plans to ensure clear assignment of responsibilities and tasks.
During the holiday, based on water level variations and weather conditions, the bureau closely monitored meteorological trends, strengthened communication with maritime authorities, meteorological departments, and hydrological units, increased channel inspection frequency, and promptly grasped the dynamics of navigation marks along the channels. A total of 409 navigation marks within the jurisdiction were inspected and maintained, deploying 10 maintenance vessels stationed on the frontline. These vessels made 7 sorties, totaling 27.84 hours, conducting 317.67 kilometers of channel inspections, restoring 1 off-mark navigation mark, ensuring that the status of navigation marks within the jurisdiction was excellent and the overall navigation environment remained secure and orderly.
At the same time, the bureau strictly implemented the holiday on-duty system, maintained smooth communication, conducted an emergency drill once, and enhanced safety management for office premises, docks, and vessels through the video surveillance system. Emergency teams, materials, and equipment were maintained in sound condition, ensuring rapid response and efficient handling, and providing comprehensive assurance for safe and smooth navigation channels along the Yangtze River during the holiday.
